Do I even remember how to do this?

Funny name for a blog...my eyes must have been sealed shut because countless moments have gone by and no posts have been posted!!  I haven't even synked my phone to my computer to get new pictures. So we begin... again.

Where to start?
Adler is now 3 years and 9 months old,
Segan is 19 months old and
Penn (yep having a 3rd)
is about to be born in 10 days!

We sold our house in Los Angeles and moved to San Diego about 2 months ago.  We loved LA and loved loved loved our fantastic friends that we have there but felt the Lord was really pushing/calling us to make a change and moving to San Diego was that change.

Hello sunny San Diego!

HUGE BLINK!

Well the years have been good to us....allow me to update.  We have move from our house in Westchester, Los Angeles to Carlsbad, San Diego.  We have been here for over a year and loving it.  Adler is going to Santa Fe Christian Preschool she has one more year of it before moving to the main campus of K-12.  In true Adler fashion she is inquisitive and pushing herself everyday to learn/try something new....she amazes me. She is such a great big sister to Segan - teaching her all she knows and sometimes things she doesn't know! ha ha :)  Segan is growing like a weed!  She is almost as big as her sister and they are best friends.  She is truly one of the funniest kids I have ever seen and just the sweetest girl.  Oh yes...one last thing.  We have a new addition to our family....PENN!!  Yes we had a little boy back on July 20th, 2012.  He is the perfect mixture of both of our girls.  I consider him our missing link that connects the two sisters.  What a handful he is!  Truly such a sweet sweet boy and pretty chill most of the time but man does he have a set of pipes on him!  I'll tell you what this kiddo will not be left out of anything EVER!  He took his first steps

Ummmm now we have 3!
Wow where did the time go....I totally forgot I even had a blog- ha!  Well a few blog posts anyway....I think I was really bad at it.  But here we are in 2018 and Adler is 9, Segan is 7 and Penn is 5!  I have 3 kids who are my world and the greatest things I have ever been around!  Though they drive me crazy at times I love every day with them and can't believe it's flying by.

We are entering into the 2nd semester of school at Lanai Elementary - 3rd, 1st and TK.  What a roller coaster it has been.
What happened~!

BLINK BLINK BLINK!!!

Well many moments have gone and here we are at the end of 2019 with three kiddos Adler (11), Segan (9) and Penn (7)

Quick update ~ ha!

We moved to Carlsbad, CA when I was pregnant with Penn - we drove up to Santa Monica on a whim and I happened to be in labor where I gave birth at UCLA Santa Monica.  We lived in Carlsbad for 18 months after that and made outstanding friends!  Dj's work became a blessing and a curse as he was up in Los Angeles every day/week and out of town shooting commercials and OTG Airports.  So realizing that we couldn't live together as a family in Carlsbad with him gone all the time we moved back up to Los Angeles, but this time not on the West Side like before we though we would give the Valley a try and ended up in Encino.

Not knowing anything about the Valley we rented a house there on Mooncrest Drive.   The kiddos went to Bel Air Presbyterian Preschool and then onto Lanai Road Elementary.
We loved Encino also and made wonderful wonderful friends there as well.  Adler went to school from Kindergarten through 4th grade, Segan went up to 2nd and Penn from TK to Kinder.   The kids were involved in local theater, dance, soccer and talent shows.    Not to mention they got to travel to Dj's movie sets during the school year!  (more about that later) The house we were renting sold and so we decided to move to Calabasas.  The schools are great all the way through High School out here and we love the lifestyle.

So we moved into Calabasas Hills where Adler is in 5th Grade and loving every minute of it!  She loves her teacher and is getting all A's.  Segan is in 3rd and Penn is in 1st and they have amazing teachers as well.  We feel so blessed by every location that we have lived and felt like God had his hand in every decision we have made.
Can't wait to see where God takes us next!

Christmas in November!

For tuesday kid's club at my good friend Mia's house she embraced the spirit of Christmas early this year since they are going back to South Africa for a visit and won't be here for the holidays.  Everyone brought a Christmas book and a toy to put under the tree and then the kids got to pick.

They did crafts such as make snow globes, decorate reindeer and
santa masks, sing Christmas songs and much much more.

My favorite thing we did was learn that Jesus was born at Christmas so
that eventually our sins would be healed by his sacrifice for us on the cross.
For this lesson all the kids got Christmas band-aids to remind them that
Jesus can heal their sins just like a band-aid can help heal your wound.
You could see the lightbulbs go on!

After all they games, crafts, art projects, lunch AND christmas presents
they discovered the best thing of all...
a 1 x 8 board lying on the ground in the back yard!

Becoming Best Friends

This is better than Christmas morning for me.  My girls are becoming best friends right before my eyes!  Every morning Addie wakes up and goes into Segans room and says "HI SEE-GAN...mommy Segan is awake"!  I hear a squeal of excitement from Segan and then bouncing up and down holding the crib shaking it until I get up and get her out to see her sister.
It's so amazing.

Moved water table inside because it was a yucky day.  Actually worked out better than expected for you moms who have two and need to keep them occupied.  I don't know why kids with water are always a hit but they ALL love playing in it!

3 Years Old!!!!

Three Years!  Could it be?!?!?  Since Adler is born on October 28th we have come to embrace the Halloween Holiday and have a dress up theme for your birthday every year.  It couldn't be any cuter than seeing all of your little friends running around dressed up as Lady Gaga, fairies strong men, bees and of course Dorothy.  What a fantastic time we have had with you little Miss Adler.  You have been around the world and have seen so many things.  We have had a blast taking you everywhere with us and have always been so proud of you.
We love you little Addie Bug.  Happy 3rd Birthday!
